AI Voiceover (Text to Speech)

Create professional voiceovers using 400+ voices in 80+ languages.

  1. Go to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps, sign in with your NU account, and open Clipchamp.
  2. Open an existing video or create a new one. You can also use free stock media and drag content onto the timeline.
  3. Select Record & create, then choose Text to speech.
  4. Choose a language and a voice. Use Advanced settings to adjust pitch or pace.
  5. Type or paste your script (up to 10 minutes per voiceover).
  6. Click Preview to listen and save as you go.
  7. Preview your video, then select Export to choose a resolution and save.

Create with Copilot (Auto-Compose)

You can also generate videos using Copilot directly in Clipchamp.

  • From the Clipchamp homepage, select Video Project.
  • Enter a prompt or choose a suggested one, then submit.
  • Clipchamp automatically builds a draft timeline with visuals and scripts.
  • Use the property panel to adjust your script or tone and regenerate the video if needed.
  • Make final edits using built-in tools, then click Export.

Additional AI Editing Tools

  • AI silence remover: Click the sparkle icon in the timeline toolbar to automatically detect and remove long pauses.
  • AI background noise remover: Separate audio from video, then apply noise suppression to improve clarity without reducing sound quality.
  • AI subtitles: Generate subtitles in multiple languages for accessibility.
  • AI background removal: Drag an image onto the timeline, right-click the video preview, and select Remove background.

Remember to use your NU account. Store and share videos from approved course or University folders—avoid personal storage when content includes student information or instructional materials.
