Sending and Receiving Faxes
Northwest University uses _ *FaxFinder Cloud *_ to send faxes. If this is your first time using the system, please submit an IT Help Request so we can create an account for you.
Sending a Fax
- Visit https://www.faxfinder.cloud/ and sign in using your NU email address and FaxFinder password.
- Click the New button on the left sidebar of the window and then select Message.
- Fill in the Sender Info fields and then click the Next button.
- On the Add Documents step, click the Attach from: [Paper Clip] button to browse for the document you wish to send (or drag it from File Explorer into the Drag and drop file(s) here zone).
- Use the red trash can icon to the right of the Default CoverPage if you don't want to include a cover page.
- Click the Next button.
- On the Add Recipients step, click the green [ + ] (add generic recipient) button, enter the recipient’s Name, Fax Number, and then click the Add button.
- When you’re ready, click the Submit button to send your fax.
Receiving Faxes
Fax numbers are assigned to colleges/departments/offices, as needed. Incoming faxes are delivered via email as PDF attachments and do not require signing into FaxFinder Cloud.
- Fax numbers are listed on the Employees and Fax Numbers by Department PDF.
- To be added to an incoming fax group (Distribution List), simply submit an IT Help Request.
- If an incoming fax isn't delivered to your Inbox, please check your Junk Email folder.
